Research for Communication Professionals (Instructor: Robert Maxwell) This course allowed me to build upon my experience as an Associate Editor at IAG Research because I learned how to analyze qualitative and quantitative data. Research Project PowerPoint Presentation Communication Environments: Macroanalysis (Instructor: David Poltrack, EVP, Research and Planning, CBS Television) Although, I enjoyed all of my courses while at NYU, Macroanalysis was by far most the interesting and useful class I enrolled in and definitely increased my interest in how the economic and industrial structure of all media are evolving. Many of Dr. Poltrack’s lectures included PowerPoint presentations that he presented in front of media experts, advertisers and network executives, which helped me understand how those in the industry use media and market research.
